Clients, Customers and Councilors Enjoy Luncheon and Tour of Extensive Facility
MCON celebrated 30 years in business with a luncheon and tour of their Ottawa offices and manufacturing plant. Guests included clients, key vendors, contributors, city councilors and the Mayor of Ottawa, Jim Watson. The event, held on June 7, 2019 at 2150 Richardson Side Road, Carp, was an opportunity to thank those companies and individuals who have been essential to MCON’s success over the years, and acknowledge their continued support. During the celebration, Jim Watson presented the company with a congratulatory plaque.
At the start of the event, guests had the chance to have their photo taken inside the largest available pipe. This was followed by a catered luncheon under a large tent. A large range of products and machinery was on display as guests mingled, and staff conducted tours of the plant. Guests were able to see the whole facility, with a stop in each department to showcase all steps of the manufacturing process. They were also shown its expanding production capacity, including the new batching process and larger production bays which were introduced in 2016. The event was the first of its kind, with the largest groups of tours visiting since the additions.
