ERP Estimation Administrator

Overview:

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the ERP Estimation Administrator will focus on bridging the gap between MCON internal departments and ERP processing. This multi departmental role will work with Sales, Engineering and Customer Service.

Responsibilities:

Estimating:

  • Liaise between Project Coordinators and Sales Team to establish project orders for ERP
  • Ensure pricing is accurate for approved items
  • Manage internal and external change orders for active project updates in ERP

Process Support:

  • Support Senior Business Systems Coordinator with maintenance of processes, data and functionality of ERP including, but not limited to: Assemblies, Orders, Inventory, etc.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, and troubleshoot inaccuracies
  • Perform regular data audits to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain proper documentation of data entry procedures and updates.
  • Generate basic reports as required by management or other departments.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Senior Business Systems Coordinator, Sales, Project Coordination, Dispatch and Manufacturing team to ensure data and process accuracy within ERP
  • Respond to data-related queries and provide support for ERP-related processes.
  • Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education Required:

  • Post-Secondary (business administration, information systems, or a related field)

Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience with project and sales estimating
  • Experience working with ERP systems [i.e. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics (preferred), NetSuite, Infor, Sage].
  • 2+ years of data entry or administrative experience, preferably in a business or operations environment.
  • Typing speed and accuracy (e.g., 45+ WPM with high accuracy).
  • Experience processing change orders and specification requirements
  • Experience working with cross function teams
  • Experience reading/working with technical drawings
  • Familiarity with basic business processes (e.g., purchasing, sales, inventory) is an asset.

Industrial Millwright – Maintenance

Overview:

Reporting to the Maintenance Lead Hand, this position will focus on maintenance of the production equipment such as control systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, forklifts, conveyers, sensors, pumps, vacuum system, planetary mixers, automated welding machines, steam generator, vibrators, pneumatic hand tools and reels in our plant facility. You are also responsible for general housekeeping and other shared duties in and around the facility. Safe work culture is encouraged.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and adhere to lockout and tagout program and procedures
  • Set-up and maintenance of production related equipment
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Fabricate parts if required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Participate in the preventative maintenance program
  • Adjust machinery and equipment as necessary
  • Change out conveyor belt, gearbox, and bearings
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine preventative maintenance work on machines
  • Perform regular testing to ensure safe working order of all machinery
  • Read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedure
  • Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to plans using hand tools and power tools

Job Summary

The Marketing/Social Media Specialist is a business-minded marketer or digital marketer and who is comfortable in a “mobile first” and social media-driven atmosphere. The Marketing/Social Media Specialist aids in defining the voice of one of Ontario’s biggest and most reputable producers of precast concrete. The Marketing/Social Media Specialist formulates appropriate, compelling, shareable, and interactive content for dispersion through The Precast Group’s social media channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a social media presence across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and YouTube Shorts, which enhances CP/MCON/USI brand.
  • Curate, produce and distribute branded material for our social platforms that people enjoy sharing, including video, images
  • Working with internal teams and clients to gather materials and information for social media postings
  • Maintain, create, and schedule social media posts relevant to each companies’ tone, product lines and events.
  • Assist with additional video, photography, or marketing duties.
  • Remodelling or creating internal and external documents using SharePoint, Lightroom, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

We are looking for a Manager, Business Administration to join our team. The Manager, Business Administration is responsible for overseeing a team that provides the administrative and operational support functions that ensure the smooth execution of plant and business activities. This includes managing office administration, production support services, procurement, dispatching, customer service, collections, inventory tracking and facilities coordination.

Responsibilities:

Administration & Staff Supervision

  • Supervise administrative support staff including office clerks, dispatchers, and receptionists.
  • Develop work plans, assign tasks, and ensure high standards of administrative accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support HR in onboarding, timekeeping, and maintaining training and safety records.

Customer Service & Order Coordination

  • Manage the order entry process and function as a liaison between customers, production, and shipping departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, or related field

Job Overview
General laborers reporting to their Supervisor are responsible for aiding in all areas of the precast concrete plant and production processes. They are responsible for collecting materials, assembling cages, setting up forms and concrete placing. They participate in general housekeeping and other various tasks throughout the plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive oral or written instructions to determine work assignments.
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, crouching, and handling of materials
  • Assembly, position and dismantle concrete forms.
  • Bending, tying, and placing reinforcing steel for precast concrete structures
  • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
  • Mix, place and spread of concrete materials
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers
  • May assist with minor repairs and maintenance
  • Clean and remove excess debris from forms, equipment, or facility
  • Participate in daily pre-production meetings
  • Complete field level risk assessments before beginning each task
  • Operate various hand and power tools, machines and other equipment as directed
  • Perform other tasks related to production, cleaning, and housekeeping as required.
  • Able to preform duties both indoors and outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
