Job Overview
General laborers reporting to their Supervisor are responsible for aiding in all areas of the precast concrete plant and production processes. They are responsible for collecting materials, assembling cages, setting up forms and concrete placing. They participate in general housekeeping and other various tasks throughout the plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive oral or written instructions to determine work assignments.
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, crouching, and handling of materials
  • Assembly, position and dismantle concrete forms.
  • Bending, tying, and placing reinforcing steel for precast concrete structures
  • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
  • Mix, place and spread of concrete materials

Overview:

The primary responsibilities of the position of Coring Operator include laying out and core drilling of holes in concrete products to facilitate customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of machinery and equipment prior to use.
  • Verify correct product is loaded.
  • Assess and verify hole specifications.
  • Regular use of hand and power tools (i.e. wrench, jack hammer/hammer drill).
  • Safe operation of core drilling equipment.
  • Attach and detach drill components as needed.
  • Maintain equipment through proper use and care (i.e. minor repairs, lubrication).
  • Report machine irregularities and performance issues.
  • Be part of the continuous improvement team and identify areas of inefficiency.

We have an immediate opening for an AZ Truck Driver with Boom Experience.

The Truck Driver will report to the Dispatcher and will be responsible for strapping loaded trailers, delivering finished goods to job sites, and assisting with product yard storage.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment (trucks, trailers, and booms), paperwork, and loaded product
  • Maintaining daily manual and/or electronic driving logs
  • Drive to destinations as outlined in the manifest in a safe, responsible, manner and in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations

Overview:

We are looking for a BIM Technician to join our team. You will be a member of our engineering team, contributing to the design of our more complex products. To be successful in this position, you should have firsthand experience using CAD software with strong attention to detail. It is also important that you have solid project coordination skills to meet the daily demands of the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret detailed civil engineering drawings, including plan and profile drawings.
  • Prepare shop drawings for review and approval to clients and production drawings for the manufacture of the company’s products, primarily utilizing Autodesk Inventor, as well as AutoCAD, and MH Pro.
  • Maintain status of issued shop drawings and follow-up as required with appropriate M CON staff and/or clients.
  • Maintain the library of standard shop drawings.
  • Prepare image rendering of company products for on-line catalogue and website.
  • Prepare product proposal drawings for specifier approvals.
  • Perform detail material quantity take-offs.
  • Technical liaise with software vendors.
  • Explore and evaluate potential drafting software applications to assist in departmental/company drafting requirements.
  • Communicate with general and site contractors, consulting engineers and external sales representatives throughout the sales & design process.
  • Ongoing liaison and collaboration with M CON Engineering, Sales, and plant staff.

  • Completion of a college diploma or accredited university degree, with a focus on drafting and design using Autodesk products.

You are also responsible for general housekeeping and other shared duties in and around the facility. Safe work culture is encouraged.

  • Perform and adhere to lockout and tagout program and procedures.
  • Set-up and maintenance of production related equipment
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
