ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RECEIVABLE CLERK
Overview
As an Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing financial transactions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will work closely with the purchasing, finance, and administration teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payment and receipts and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. You will also assist with financial analysis, reporting and related additional tasks as required.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable:
- Receive, review, and process invoices, ensuring proper coding, approval, and accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements/accounts payable documents
- Communicate with purchasing to resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues. Follow up with vendors as required
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions in ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Ensure all reconciled accounts payable documents get reviewed and sent to M CON’s accounting department in a timely manner
- Collect all credit card receipts from M CON card holders monthly and prepare expense reports accordingly
- Ensure all required invoices/work orders/receipts get saved in the appropriate locations in SharePoint
- File accounts payable documents accordingly
Accounts Receivable:
- Accounts receivable data entry as required
General:
- Assist in regular database maintenance in Microsoft Dynamics
- Assist with financial analysis, reporting and other impromptu tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and handle sensitive data with integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as purchasing, sales, and customer service, to resolve any financial-related inquires or issues
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations, best practices, and industry trends
- Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications
Education Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred)
Years of Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable and/accounts receivable roles
Specific Experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Dynamics, Word, Teams, SharePoint)

AZ TRUCK DRIVER
Overview
We have an immediate opening for an AZ Truck Driver with Boom Experience. The Truck Driver will report to the Dispatcher and will be responsible for strapping loaded trailers, delivering finished goods to job sites, and assisting with product yard storage.
Responsibilities
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product
- Maintaining daily driving logs
- Drive to destinations as outlined in the manifest in a safe, responsible, manner and in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations
- Notifying Dispatch of any route changes, time delays, and non-delivered orders
- Checking-in with Customers at each designated job
- Finding solutions to possible challenges with the assistance of Dispatch
- Unloading and delivering a product to an assigned area within the jobsite as directed by the Customer
- Submitting Customer payments and paperwork to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
- Follow proper load securement practice (chains and straps)
- Pre-start checks for trucks, trailers, and booms
- Performing other tasks and duties as assigned

BIM TECHNICIAN
Overview
We are looking for a BIM Technician to join our team. You’ll be a member of our engineering team, contributing to the design of our more complex products. To be successful in this position, you should have hands-on experience using CAD software with strong attention to detail. It’s also important that you have solid project coordination skills to meet the daily demands of the role.
Responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret detailed civil engineering drawings, including plan and profile drawings.
- Prepare shop drawings for review and approval to clients and production drawings for the manufacture of the company’s products, primarily utilizing Autodesk Inventor, as well as AutoCAD, and MH Pro.
- Maintain status of issued shop drawings and follow-up as required with appropriate M CON staff and/or clients.
- Maintain the library of standard shop drawings.
- Prepare image rendering of company products for on-line catalogue and website.
- Prepare product proposal drawings for specifier approvals.
- Perform detail material quantity take-offs.
- Technical liaise with software vendors.
- Explore and evaluate potential drafting software applications to assist in departmental/company drafting requirements
- Communicate with general and site contractors, consulting engineers and external sales representatives throughout the sales & design process.
- Ongoing liaison and collaboration with M CON Engineering, Sales, and plant staff.
Qualifications
Education Required:
- Completion of a college diploma or accredited university degree, with a focus on drafting and design using Autodesk products.
- Post-Secondary Diploma, preferably in Construction Engineering Technician program is an asset or similar educational credentials or equivalent experience preferably in the Construction industry.

FACILITY CUSTODIAN
Overview
The Facility Custodian reports to the Plant Supervisor and works with employees at all levels of the organization. This position is responsible for the housekeeping, cleanliness of all areas of the precast concrete manufacturing facility. Responsibilities also include cleaning concrete formwork, floors, bathrooms, offices, and supporting production by performing general maintenance cleaning duties to ensure the facility and equipment are in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning floors with mops, brooms, dust pans, vacuum cleaners, or other cleaning equipment.
- Cleaning walls, windows, floors, stairways, restrooms, and other surfaces.
- Gathers and disposes of trash
- Manages the inventory of cleaning products, tools and equipment
- Provide cleaning support to plant and maintenance staff as required including cleaning trays beneath conveyor belts and detailing machinery
- Cleaning machinery and equipment such as pipes, steel columns/beams and walls
- Removing grease, oil, dirt and other contaminants from machinery and equipment using solvents and detergents.
- Complete any required safety risk assessments before beginning each task, report any safety hazards or environmental concerns in prompt and effective manner

FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Overview
Forklift Operators are responsible for aiding in all areas of the manufacturing facility. Primarily working in the stock yard, year-round, in equipment with capacities ranging from 10,000 lbs up to 100,000 Ibs equipped with heating. Forklift Operators are responsible for loading, unloading trucks, and moving materials throughout the yard and plant. They participate in general housekeeping and other various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform and keep logs of inspection of forklift before use on each shift

GENERAL LABOURER

Overview
General labourers reporting to Area Supervisors, are responsible for aiding in all areas of the precast concrete plant and production processes. They are responsible for collecting materials, assembling cages, setting up forms and concrete placing. They participate in general housekeeping and other various tasks throughout the plant.

- Assembly, position and dismantle concrete forms.

INDUSTRIAL MILLWRIGHT – MAINTENANCE
Overview
This position entails looking after the maintenance of the production equipment such as control systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, forklifts, conveyers, sensors, pumps, vacuum system, planetary mixers, automated welding machines, steam generator, vibrators, pneumatic hand tools and reels in our plant facility. You are also responsible for general housekeeping and other shared duties in and around the facility. Safe work culture is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Perform and adhere to lockout and tagout program and procedures
- Set-up and maintenance of production related equipment
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Fabricate parts if required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
- Participate in the preventative maintenance program
- Adjust machinery and equipment as necessary
- Change out conveyor belt, gearbox, and bearings
- Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine preventative maintenance work on machines
- Perform regular testing to ensure safe working order of all machinery
- Read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedure
- Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to plans using hand tools and power tools

OPERATIONS MANAGER
Overview
The Operations Manager role will manage overall business and plant operations and is responsible for effective and successful resource planning and staff management, productivity, quality control, and safety measures, including serving as the company representative on regulatory issues. This role will enhance and optimize operational procedures, systems, and principles in information flow, leadership, business processes, and organizational structure. The Operations Manager will have proven experience demonstrating and reinforcing effective mentorship and coaching techniques across all levels. PLANT SUPERVISOR
Overview
The Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all production activities and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the manufacturing plant. In this role, you are a reliable, accountable, natural-born leader. You will report to the Plant Manager and be a key member of the Plant Management team. As such responsible for providing overall leadership to the entire plant and the people that work there. QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
Overview
The primary responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector position include daily product inspections and classifications, daily and weekly reporting, and regular performance testing and process control and adhering to government standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspection & classification of finished products each day
- Maintain product and material inspection, and test data daily
- Complete weekly production and second reports required to ensure accurate inventory.
- Monitor & maintain a documented program of quality assurance, inspection and control for the manufacturing process that meets the requirements of the Ontario Concrete Pipe Association (OCPA) Plant Prequalification Program, and CSA A23.4 Plant Certification
- Monitor and maintain inspection, measuring and test equipment required to ensure the manufacturing process meets or exceeds the industry standard

- Inspect in-process products for special requirements and applications specified by engineering, including, fittings and hardware
- In-process inspections as requested by production and/or shipping including gaskets, coring, scribing, rework, repairs, and confirmation of special applications
- Report on product performance testing and process control, in meetings and written reports, including testing summaries and interim reports, as outlined in the CPCQA Plant Prequalification Program, and Compliance Reports
- Be part of the continuous improvement teams and direct quality programs to reduce non-conformance and discontinuity
- Special projects as required by, and agreed upon with Management, including any changes or revision to current responsibilities
Qualifications

QUALITY MANAGER

SENIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator. The primary responsibilities include providing project leadership/technical support/guidance and ensuring the proper exchange of information within the engineering team; managing overall communication among project team members and ensuring effective coordination between the different departments involved in design and production processes. The Senior Project Coordinator will also lead any complex/custom projects as required and provide oversight, advice and guidance to the Project Coordinators and BIM Technicians, throughout the project and production processes. Demonstrates a clear understanding and knowledge of all manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with Project Coordinators, BIM Technicians, Engineers, Estimating, and Production staff to deliver products on time
- Perform detail material quantity take-offs
- Direct and support projects from the beginning design phase until delivery
- Ensure products are being designed in accordance with design standards
- Ensure that all work completed by the engineering team is completed accurately
- Coordinate the approval and purchase of specialty hardware included with our products
- Assist with the completion of estimates, estimate reviews and costing
- As required, prepare plant shop drawings for manufacturing in AutoCAD/Inventor, and or MH Pro
- Communicate with general/site contractors, consulting engineers and external sales representatives including responding to questions or inquiries about project status, concerns, or other requests for information.
- As required, conduct job site visits (with clients as required) where products being installed
- As required, project kick off meetings (with clients as required)
- Project lead on any complex or custom projects as required including consulting with Estimating during completion of custom product proposals
- Process change orders and communicate changes with Estimating and billing departments
- Contribute to the detailing and designing of fabrication projects in the plant as required
- Help maintain library of standard shop drawings
- Technical liaison with software suppliers and specifiers

SKILLED LABOURER

Skilled Labourers are responsible for aiding in all areas of the precast concrete plant and production processes. They are responsible for collecting materials, assembling cages, setting up forms and concrete placing. They participate in general housekeeping and other various tasks throughout the plant. - Receive oral instructions to determine work assignments.
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, crouching, and handling of materials

Welders are primarily responsible for building and welding the rebar/wire cages that are used for concrete production.
