President, John Mion Thanks Employees for Their Contribution to the Company’s Success
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of MCON and thank employees for their hard work throughout the years, we invited current and some past employees for a family-friendly barbecue and facility tour. The event was held on Saturday June 8, 2019. The President of MCON, Mr. John Mion gave a speech thanking employees and their families for their dedication over the years. He also recognized past and previous employees who have helped make the company the success it is today.
Guests entered the yard and had their photo taken inside a large 3000mm pipe. Afterwards, they continued to a catered barbecue which included delicious food and an ice cream truck. Family and friends were entertained by talented face painters and a balloon artist clown.
Employees from the Precast Group of Companies, Central Precast and Utility Structures were invited to tour the MCON plant for the first time with their families. Employees had the opportunity to show their families what they do each day, the equipment they and their co-workers use and the products they make. Different products and equipment were on display and children enjoyed having their photos taken amongst the impressive range of technology. We were blessed with sun, beautiful weather, music, many laughs and memories. We plan to hold a similar event in the future.
